Discover the wonders of Indonesia on this fascinating 10-day trip! This unique country is sprawled out over volcanic islands, breathtaking beaches and dense jungles with different ethnic groups - each with its own language, beliefs and heritage which you will explore with the help of your professional tour guide. From the vibrant capital of Jakarta to the stunning Lovina Beach in Bali and everything in between, this fun-filled package will leave you with unforgettable memories and a new-found love for Indonesia.

Day 1

Jakarta – Bandung

Welcome to Indonesia! Upon arrival you will be met by a representative to start your trip to Bandung. Your first stop will be at Bogor, but make sure you bring your umbrella along because it rains almost every day, even in the dry season. Here you will visit the famed Bogor Botanical Gardens, with several different gardens like the Water Garden (for water and swamp plants), the Mexican Garden (dedicated to desert plants) and the Medicine Garden to list a few. Afterwards you will visit one of the tea plantations in Puncak, a beautiful mountain pass connecting Bogor to Bandung. Following a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, you will pass by one of the 6 presidential palaces of Indonesia, the Cipanas Palace, before proceeding to Bandung.

Day 2


After a delicious breakfast, you will go on a full-day tour to explore Bandung. You will first visit Tangkuban Perahu, an active volcano nicknamed “overturned boat,” where you can drive right up to the rim to see the breathtaking views of its smoldering crater. Afterwards you will go to Ciater, a hot spring of sulfured water good for healing rheumatism and several skin problems; before ending the tour, you will have a tasty lunch at a local restaurant in Bandung.

In the afternoon, you could go on an optional tour to the Angklung Music School Udjo to watch the Angklung Orchestra performance by school children of different ages.

Day 3

Bandung – Yogyakarta

Today you will ride the morning train to Yogyakarta, a city located on the island of Java, known for beingto be the center of traditional arts and cultural heritage. As you cross the island, you will explore its landscape from the comfort of your seat so feast your eyes on the scenic views while you have a delicious lunch on board. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel for check in, and the rest of the night at leisure.

Day 4


On this day you will visit 3 of the most important Buddhist temples in the world  located on one straight line in the Magelang Regency. You will start with a visit to the magnificent 9th C Borobudur Temple (or Barabudur), a UNESCO World Heritage Site which is the largest Buddhist temple in the world. After a mouth-watering lunch, you will visit the impressive Mendut Temple, the oldest of the 3 temples where Buddhist rituals still take place until today. You will end your tour with a visit to the Pawon Temple, a Buddhist temple with architectural elements from old Javanese, Hindu and Indian art. Its name literally means “kitchen” in Javanese but locals call it Bajranalan based on the name of the village.

Day 5


Start your day by exploring the rich history of Yogyakarta with a visit to Kraton Yogyakarta, the Sultan's Palace which serves as a cultural center and has a museum displaying artifacts of the sultanate. Next, you will learn about the traditional batik home industry, which is a traditional method industry of dyeing coloring cloth using wax. Then you will visit Kota Gede, a historic neighborhood known internationally for its impressive silver crafts. Before returning to your hotel, you will go shopping at Jalan Malioboro, the largest tourist district in Yogyakarta and a major shopping street whose sidewalks are full of stalls selling a variety of goods.

Day 6

Yogyakarta – Malang

Today you will head to the charming city of Solo, Yogya’s sister city which is formerly known as Surakarta, where you will visit the Kraton Mangkunegaran Palace built in 1757. Afterwards, you will continue across East Java to reach the city of Malang, nicknamed the “Paris of East Java” due to its colonial-era boulevards left behind by the Dutch. Nowadays it is a center of tourism with beautiful beaches, temples and museums.

Day 7


This morning you will discover the city of Malang with its antiquities from the Singosari dynasty dating back to the 14th C AD. You will visit the Singosari (or Singhasari) Temple, a Hindu-Buddhist temple dating back to the 13th C, and the Jago Temple, a Hindu temple which was also built in the 13th C. During the tour, you will visit the old colonial retirement area and will pass by Ijen Boulevard, where you can see beautiful old-fashioned Dutch houses decorated with flowers and palm trees.

Please Note: Tonight you could go on  an optional tour to watch the sunrise from Mount Bromo.  After midnight, you will drive for about 2.5 hours to Cemoro Lawang (also known as Cemara Lawang) which is a quaint mountain village. Here you will go down the steep slope of Mount Tengger on horseback, crossing the sea of sand to climb 245 steps until you reach the awesome rim of the crater where you will watch the sunrise!

Day 8

Malang – Kalibaru

On this day, you will drive through the Jember Regency to reach Kalibaru, a small hill town known for coffee plantations because of its strategic location and climate. On your way, you will pass by coastal areas, see mountainous landscapes, local villages and old fashion Dutch irrigation system as well as large plantations of coffee, cacao and rubber.

Day 9

Kalibaru – Lovina

You will spend this morning at leisure, so to relax or explore your surrounding by taking a walk around the beautiful plantations and farms. Afterwards, you will start your drive to the stunning island of Bali, a popular tourist destination famous for its scenic views of frosted volcanic mountains as well as beaches where you could go surfing and diving. On your way, you will take a ferry boat to cross the Bali Strait which separates Java and Bali, to reach the port town of Gilimanuk for your transfer to your hotel in Lovina Beach.

Day 10


After breakfast, you will have the morning at leisure to relax or wander around Lovina, which is famed for its diverse marine life from snorkeling and diving near the coral reef to dolphin-watching. Afterwards, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight out or will be dropped off at any hotel in Bali that you have booked in advance.
