Over the course of eight days, you will travel through the many paradises of Brazil. First, you will go to Rio de Janeiro, one of the most populous cities in the world teeming with life and sheltered by green hills, rocky mountains, and a stunning blue sky. Then, you will sail for Ilha Grande, a nearby island where you can practice any kind of water sport, or rest on the shore among its verdant forests. Finally, make your way to the historical city of Paraty, where you can walk on its cobblestone streets and see its beautifully preserved churches, surrounded by gorgeous countryside famous for its sugarcane plantations.


Day 1

Rio de Janeiro

Upon your arrival, you will meet your guide at the international airport and be transferred to your hotel in Copacabana.

Day 2

Rio de Janeiro

You will join an excursion to Sugar Loaf mountain. Your first stop will be Urca Mountain, which has a wide viewing area where you can have a snack at the bar. On the mountain of Sugar Loaf, you will have a beautiful view of Rio, Copacabana beach, the bay, the surrounding mountains, islands in the ocean, bridge to Niteroi, Guanabara Bay and the statue of Christ on Corcovado Mountain.

Afterwards, you will set off on a tour through the city. You will begin at the station, where the environmentally-friendly train will take us through the jungle to the top of Corcovado. On either side of the railway you will have spectacular views of Tijuca Forest, inhabited by monkeys and other exotic animals and birds. At the top of Corcovado, at an altitude of 700m above sea level, stands the symbol of Rio - Statue of Christ the Savior (38m), which was built in 1931. A breathtaking panorama view of the metropolis and its environs is possible from the top of Corcovado.

Day 3

Rio de Janeiro

Take a morning or afternoon tour from Rio to the Tijuca Forest in an open jeep. The 4-hour jeep tour includes an easy 1-hour hike, giving you the chance to spot monkeys, birds, butterflies and tropical flora. You'll be amazed by the remarkable contrast of a tropical rainforest right in the middle of a big city.

At the Tijuca Forest you'll take an eco-trek lasting approximately one hour, following an easy trail. There's no better way to experience the living rainforest. You'll have many spectacular photo opportunities on this rainforest jeep tour from Rio de Janeiro.

On your tour you'll pass the Cachoeira dos Macacos (translated as “Monkey's Waterfall”), take photos at Vista Chinesa (“Chinese Belvedere”), hear about the important reforestation program and learn the importance of the Mata Atlantica (“Atlantic Forest”) ecosystem. The tour also takes you past the Mesa do Imperador (“Emperor's Table”), Cascatinha (“Taunay Waterfall”) and Capela Mayrink (“Mayrink Chapel”).

Day 4

Rio de Janeiro – Ilha Grande

You will transfer from Rio de Janeiro to the island of Ilha Grande: From the pier of Angra dos Reis, you will take the ferry to Ilha Grande. The crossing takes around one hour. After arriving at your hotel in Ilha Grande, you will have some time at leisure to relax at the beautiful beaches, explore the island or choose from many optional tours.

Day 5

Ilha Grande

Today you will go on a journey to the Lagoa Azul ("Blue Lagoon") and its surrounding beaches. Lagoa Azul is a paradise with calm, shallow water that shimmers with various shades of blue. The lagoon is also home to many small, colorful fish.

Day 6

Ilha Grande – Paraty

Enjoy your last hours in Ilha Grande at the beach or go on an optional tour to Lopes Mendes beach. The beach is the most famous beach on the island and one of the most beautiful in the entire Brazilian coast. The 3km long beach has fine sand and incredibly clear water in many shades of blue. In the afternoon, you will be transferred back to the pier to take the ferry back to the mainland of Angra dos Reis. From Angra dos Reis you will be brought to Paraty where you will check in at your hotel.

Day 7


Having enjoyed the opulent breakfast at the Pousada, you will board our schooner for a 4-hour ride off the coast, taking you into a world of tropical islands and beaches of breathtaking beauty. While anchoring on pristine beaches, nobody can resist a swim in its crystal-clear waters. Upon returning to Paraty, you will have the rest of the day at leisure. You may want to check out the many boutiques displaying a wide array of beautiful handicraft and Brazilian-styled leisure wear. Another option is the puppet show of the famous "Teatro Contadores de Histórias", with openings on the weekends and daily shows during high season.

Day 8


You will be transferred to the international airport in Rio de Janeiro for your departure flight.
