Brief

On this tour, you will get to explore the countries of France, England and the Netherlands. You will be traveling by ferry from one country to the other and will be doing tours of their capitals.

Day 1

Paris

Welcome to Paris! After arrival and check-in, your guide will meet you at the hotel and give an overview of the tour. At the end of the evening, you will go to the Montmartre district. This neighborhood is known for its painters, artists, and its cabarets. Go up the hill and admire the spectacular view of Paris from the top before returning to the hotel.

Day 2

Paris

Enjoy a scenic guided tour to discover the history, main boulevards and the breathtaking monuments of Paris. When reaching the Eiffel Tower area, you will have the opportunity to climb up to the second floor of this remarkable metal monument. You will also go on a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides the north of Paris from the south. At sunset, you will go to the “Quartier Latin”, a very picturesque area of the historic centre were you can enjoy dinner. Note: Sometimes queues to climb the Eiffel Tower are long. For organizational reasons, if deemed appropriate, the climb can be made at a different moment of the day (or Monday).

Day 3

Paris - Rouen

Today, you will go to the area of the Louvre Museum and enjoy your day as you please. If you wish, you can go to Benlux, one of the most complete and best-known perfumeries in Paris. In the afternoon, you will move to Rouen, a city rich in  houses with half-timbered walls, narrow streets and gothic churches.

Day 4

Rouen - London

Today you will set off to the North of France. In Eperlecques, you will visit a huge WWII bunker in the middle of the forest . From this point, V1 and V2 missiles were fired to the UK. Next, take a ferry across the English Channel to reach Canterbury, the religious capital of England with a very attractive historic centre. From there, you will continue to London. In London, you will visit Camden, where there is one of the varied and extravagant street markets in London. You can enjoy dinner in Camden.

Day 5

London

Get to know London on a locally guided tour featuring style, culture and history. See the Houses of Parliament, the river Thames, the Tower of London and Buckingham Palace, where you will be able to watch the famous changing of the guard. In the afternoon, enjoy traditional afternoon tea. In the evening, enjoy a stroll through Leicester Square, China Town and Soho. Sit down for dinner at a restaurant of your choice.

Day 6

London - Amsterdam

After breakfast, visit the British Museum, one of the main and oldest museums in the world, where you can see relics from cultures all around the globe. After some free time, you will leave for Colchester, known as the most ancient city in England. You will then board a ferry in Harwich (overnight) to take you to Volendam. Note: The ferry used has a limited number of cabins, a change in means of transportation could be possible where you will take a train and spend the night in Antwerp.

Day 7

Volendam - Amsterdam

You will be arriving in the picturesque village of Volendam. After this, travel to Amsterdam where you will enjoy a tour of the city to see its narrow canals, the Dam Platz, traditional buildings and parks. You will also get to see how diamonds are cut and get to see the infamous Red Light district.

Overnight in Amsterdam (Breakfast).

Day 8

Amsterdam

Today, you will leave for Brussels, and will have the time in the Grand Place and take a stop to photograph the Atomium. Later in Bruges, the marvellous city known as the “northern little Venice”, you will have time for lunch before continuing to Paris, your destination for the day. If you start or end your trip in Paris, we advise you to book an extra day or two in this city. This way, you will be able to get to visit Euro Disney, Versailles and other places of interest.
