Sail through the Venetian canals, visit the captivating wonders of Florence, and get in touch with your romantic side in the enchanting city of Rome. For those of you fascinated with master craftsmanship, Venice ceases any disappointments with its amazing glass-blowing workshops, the world-famous St. Mark’s Basilica and the gothic Doge’s Palace. As for those who appreciate art, Michelangelo’s famous David waits for you in Florence, along with the unmatchable Dome atop the Cathedral in Piazza del Duomo. A visit to Italy isn’t complete without a stop in the dreamlike city of Rome, with its extraordinary Coliseum and Roman Forum – to list a few. So sit back and absorb the rich history of this remarkable country as you sip on traditional Italian wine!

Day 1

Venice 

Ciao, welcome to Venice! After checking in at your hotel, you will have the rest of your day at leisure to relax, or explore this magical Italian city on your own. On this night, you will meet your Tour Director to discuss the fascinating tour that awaits you, followed by a delicious dinner.

Day 2

Venice

After a tasty breakfast, you will begin your exploration of Venice with a boat ride to the Murano Island, famous for its artistic glassware. Here you will visit a glass-blowing factory where you will watch a demonstration of traditional Venetian glassblowing by master craftsmen. Then, you will go on a guided walking tour of Venice starting at the famous St. Mark’s Square, you will visit the world-famous St. Mark’s Basilica and the gothic Doge’s Palace, and will see the Bell Tower and the 17th C Bridge of Sighs.  The rest of the day will be at leisure to relax, shop around or perhaps go on an optional gondola ride to take in the beauty of Venice.

Day 3

Venice – Florence

On this day, you will drive to Ferrara, a Renaissance gem in the Emilia-Romagna region, standing on the banks of the Po River. After an orientation tour of this gorgeous city's main monuments and landmarks, you will continue to the Tuscan city of Pisa where you’ll see the famous Piazza del Miracoli with its Leaning Tower, the Baptistery, and Duomo. Then, you'll make your way to Florence, the capital of the Tuscany region for dinner and a free evening to explore on your own.

Day 4

Florence

Today’s morning city tour will begin at the majestic Piazza del Duomo to see the Cathedral crowned by Brunelleschi’s awe-inspiring Dome, the stunning Giotto’s Bell Tower, and the Baptistery with Ghiberti’s splendid bronze “Gates of Paradise.” Then, you will visit the Academy of Fine Arts, where Michelangelo’s David is displayed. The tour will end at the Piazzale Michelangelo where you will enjoy a spectacular view over Florence, so make sure you bring a camera. The remainder of the day will be yours to savor the Renaissance splendor of the Tuscan capital your own way.

Day 5

Florence – Rome

This morning you will travel through the stunning panorama of Tuscany with its iconic landscapes as you make your way to Assisi, the hometown of St. Francis. Here, you will take a walking tour to see the main square and visit the impressive 13th C Basilica of St. Francis before continuing to Rome for dinner and an evening at leisure.

Day 6

Rome

You will start off the day by going on a full-day sightseeing tour today to see all the highlights of the incomparable "Eternal City." Firstly, you will visit the Vatican Museums with the moving Sistine Chapel and grand St. Peter’s Basilica. Then, you will visit the Coliseum, the ancient Palatine Hill overlooking Circus Maximus and the Imperial Palace, as well as the Roman Forum.

Overnight in Rome (Breakfast, Lunch).

Day 7

Rome

Today you will have a free day in the spectacular city of Rome! Your tour guide will have suggestions on how to spend your time. You may want to visit some of the chic shops, galleries, and museums, do some more sightseeing on your own or relax in a sidewalk café with a glass of fine Italian wine, a cold Limoncello, some refreshing gelato, or a hearty dish of pasta. At night, a festive farewell dinner will be held for you and your fellow travelers; the perfect way to celebrate your glimpse of Italy.

Day 8

Rome

After breakfast and check-out formalities, it is time to say goodbye. Depending on the time of your departure flight, you will be transferred to the airport in Rome. Ciao!
