Day 1


Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by a company representative and will go to your hotel. Your afternoon is free to discover the city. 

Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 2


Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city during which you will visit the Golden Horn, the fishing district, and Taksim. Walk by the Topkapi Palace and admire the exterior of Hagia Sophia. Enjoy a cable car ride up to the Pierre Loti viewpoint and discover the Mosque of Suleyman the Magnificent (the largest in Istanbul). In the afternoon, discover the Taksim neighborhood, the most commercial and lively area of the city. There will be time to dine in one of its many restaurants, and you can also take the old tram to the nearby Galata Tower.

Day 3


Take a boat trip along the Bosphorus for around two hours. The Bosphorus connects the Black Sea with the Sea of Marmara, dividing Istanbul into two parts: the European part and the Asian one. You will go under the two bridges that unite Europe and Asia and admire the palaces of the sultans, the typical wooden houses and the Ottoman villas. After some free time, you can go on an optional tour inside the Topkapi palace with lunch.

Day 4

Istanbul - Cappadocia

Today you will take a train to Ankara through Anatolian landscapes. After a short lunch break, you will get to discover the Mausoleum of Ataturk. After that, continue to Cappadocia, on the way, you will get to see the incredible Salt Lake. Upon arrival in Avanos, Cappadocia, you will get to enjoy dinner.

Day 5


Discover the fantastic region of Cappadocia, with its landscapes, churches and troglodyte villages. You will get to visit the Goreme Valley, an open air museum home to churches carved into the rocks followed by a visit to Uchisar, a natural fortress. In Kaimacli, visit the underground city that once housed 30,000 people. After that visit Gumusler, an amazing underground monastery established in 7C with, perhaps, the best Byzantine frescoes in Turkey. You will spend time in Nigde in the East, before returning to your hotel in Avanos.

Day 6

Cappadocia - Konya

In the morning, visit the Pasabag Valley. At the far end of Cappadocia, visit the Ihlara Valley; known for the freshness of its waters, its churches and villages excavated in the rock. Then we continue our route, with a stop in a 13C Caracanserai before arriving in Konya where we visit the Mausoleum of Mevlana. Here we will learn about the Sufi order of the Dervishes.  At night, we suggest that you attend the dance performance of the whirling dervishes in the cultural centre.

Day 7

Konya - Pamukkale

Take a scenic road between the lakes, and get to know Egridir, a beautiful town next to a large lake, with its walls and mosques. There’s time to have lunch before continuing to Pamukkale. The calcareous waters have created the Cotton Castle.

Day 8

Pamukkale - Bodrum

Today you will visit Ephesus, the best preserved ancient city of Asia Minor; 2000 years ago it had a quarter of a million inhabitants. Visit the house of the Virgin Mary, the Basilica of Saint John and the impressive ruins at Ephesus (tickets included). Later, continue on towards the Turquoise Coast, which has magnificent landscapes, you will spend the night in Bodrum.

Day 9

Bodrum - Marmaris

Spend the morning discovering Bodrum, a beautiful fortified city of Greek origin. You can visit its castle, walk through its streets which are full of life and tourist activity or its leisure marina. After lunch, continue towards Marmaris, another beautiful coastal tourist enclave, with its castle, its marina and its fountains.

Day 10

Marmaris - Rhodes

Early in the morning, at first light, board the boat for Greece. After arriving in Rhodes, enjoy its impressive walled citadel, its old town that shows the traces of the different cultures (Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Knights of Saint John, Ottomans, Italians, etc.) that inhabited it. Your afternoon is free to explore the city.

Note: The ferries that link Rhodes with Marmaris undergo frequent changes in schedules and do not operate every day (except during summer months). The itinerary may be adapted based on the frequencies available during your trip.

Day 11


Today, you will travel to Petaloudes, or the valley of the butterflies. Starting at the church of Moni Panagias, enjoy a pleasant walk along the stream, a route which, from June to September, is populated by thousands of butterflies (entrance to the Natural Park included). After that, travel to Lindos, home to a medieval fortress and Greek Acropolis, you can walk through the white and commercial streets of the center, rest on its beaches or climb (by donkey if you wish) to the Acropolis before moving to Athens.

Day 12


Enjoy a city tour of Athens which includes the Panathinaikos Stadium and the Royal Palace. The rest of the day is yours to discover the city as you please.

You will check-out after breakfast.
