Day 1


Welcome to Istanbul, also known as Constantinople and Byzantium! Upon arrival one of our representatives will meet you at the Istanbul Ataturk Airport for your transfer to the hotel. You will have the rest of the day to get acquainted with Istanbul as you explore the city on your own. 

Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 2


After a delicious breakfast, you will go on a city tour of Istanbul at 08:30. Your first stop will be at the ancient basilica of St. Sophia, built by Constantine the Great in the 4th C. This church-turned-mosque is one of the architectural marvels of all time! Next on the list will be Topkapi Palace, which served as the residence of Ottoman sultans from the 15th-19th C, housing an exquisite collection of crystals, miniatures, silver, and many artifacts used by the previous sultans and their families.

Next stop on your tour will be the Sultan Ahmet Imperial Mosque; built in the 16th C, it is known as the Blue Mosque because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles. You will also visit the Ancient Hippodrome which was the scene of chariot races, with the 3 monuments: the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. After free time for a lunch break, you will head to one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world: the Grand covered Bazaar. In this labyrinth of streets and passages, you will find more than 4,000 shops with each trade having its own area: the goldsmiths’ street, the carpet sellers and several other Turkish arts and crafts.

Day 3

Istanbul - Cappadocia

Today you will get picked up at 08:30 to go on a magical Bosphorus Cruise by boat along the picturesque waterway separating Europe and Asia! Then you will visit the Spice Bazaar, also known as the Egyptian Bazaar, where the air here is filled with the enticing aromas of cinnamon, caraway, saffron, mint, thyme and every other conceivable herb and spice. So feasts your senses on the colors, tastes and smells of this enchanting place! You will have a lunch break before heading to the Ataturk Airport for your domestic flight to Cappadocia. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in and a wonderful dinner.

Day 4


At 08:30, you will start your fully guided tour of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient sites in the world! En-route, you will visit the ancient Temple of Artemis, Curetes street, the famous Roman baths, the Celsus Library, the Grand Theatre and the House of the Virgin Mary. You will have a lunch break at around 13:00, after which you will visit a carpet-weaving center where one of the oldest arts of Turkey is preserved until today. Next, you will go on a tour of the charming village of Şirince, which was originally built by the Anatolian Greeks. Settled in the mountains overlooking the Aegean coast, this small picturesque village is famous for its olive oil, herbal soaps and natural cosmetics. But that’s not all, Şirince is also famous for its homemade apple and fruit wines which you will learn to make during a visit to one of the local vineyards.

In the evening you will stop by one of the famous leather production centers of the region. On this guided tour you will get a good factory rate while avoiding the constant nagging (and sometimes bullying) that Turkish markets are infamous for, enabling you to enjoy the shopping experience while you learn about this ancient craft.

Day 5

Kuşadası - Pamukkale

This morning you will leave for the breathtaking town of Pamukkale at 08:00, and after checking-in at the hotel, you will have lunch around noon. At 13:30, you will visit the calcium terraces of Pamukkale, which literally translates into "cotton castle." You will also visit the ruins of the ancient city of Hierapolis before heading to the hot thermal springs, famous for their mud baths which are known as the red waters of Karahayit. If you happen to visit in the summer, make sure you have a hat, glasses and sunblock to protect yourself from the reflective rays bouncing off the chalky cascades.

Day 6

Pamukkale - Istanbul

After breakfast and check-out formalities, you will leave for Denizli Çardak Airport for your domestic flight to Istanbul where this package will end. We hope your tour was a memorable one and would love to see you in the future on one of our tours!
