Montevideo – Colonia del Sacramento
After breakfast, you'll come along on a beautiful half-day tour to visit some of Montevideo's highlights and attractions. You will have the opportunity to know the Old City with its rich architecture, Port Market, Downtown shops, Independence Square, Parliament Palace, the romantic zone know as “el Prado”, the Hill of the city, and the elegant residential areas like Carrasco, Punta Gorda and Pocitos by the exceptional promenade with beautiful and endless beaches.
Afterwards, you will be transfered to Colonia del Sacramento, which lies over the Northern bank of the Río de La Plata. Founded towards 1680, Colonia del Sacramento is a typical Portuguese city of the 17thC which today charms tourists from all over the world with its well-preserved architectural richness. Getting lost in its historical streets, going up the lighthouse staircase, visiting its churches, its various museums and ancient houses are some activities enjoyed by tourists during their stay in the city.

You'll go on a city tour visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Site that is Colonia del Sacramento: Discover the little stone streets, the old edifications, the fort, the port, the Spanish and Portuguese houses, downtown and the Rambla which borders the Old City to the “Real de San Carlos” where the “Plaza de Toros”, the “Hipodromo” and the old harbor can be seen. Your trip will then end with a private transfer from the hotel to the airport for your departure flight.
