Taipei - Nantou
You will be picked up from the hotel and transferred to your first destination, Nantou by bus. When you reach Nantou, you will head towards Puli, a cultural artistic heaven located at the geographic heart of Taiwan which is known for its “four Ws”: weather, water, women, and wine. Afterwards, you will visit the most famous lake attraction in Taiwan, the Sun Moon Lake. There, you will enjoy the relaxing scenery of the lofty mountains of Central Taiwan. After the Lake bus tour, you will pass by Wen Wu Temple, Ita Thao Indigenous Village, where you will find stores, restaurants, and hotels in the village, Ci’en Pagoda, a famous tower in Sun Moon Lake. Surrounding the tower are beautiful plants and trees and there are stone tables and chairs for visitors to take a rest. Finally, you will visit the serene and charming Xuanzang Temple.
Overnight in Nantou
Nantou - Chiayi
After Breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel and head towards Alishan National Scenic Area by bus through the New Central Cross Island Highway and Yushan National Park. Alishan is famous throughout the island and parts of Southeast Asia for its forest recreation. A leisurely half-day stroll along forested paths allows visitors to take in Alishan’s other attractions. The enchanting Sisters Ponds are two small individual ponds where you can walk along the 180 meter long trail that encircles the two ponds to appreciate their beauty from all angles and find the lovely pavilion made of cypress wood at which you can rest and take memorable pictures. Another attraction is the admirable Three Generation Trees. During the forest tour, you will visit Shou-Chen Temple, the highest within Taiwan. It is located in the deep mountains and enjoys a fairly prosperous stream of visitors as it enshrines three ancient Chinese characters. Also you will get the chance to observe the fallen giant Sacred Tree. Finally, you will enjoy an Alishan Forest Railway ride. Afterwards, you will head towards Chiayi City by bus.

Chiayi - Taipei
After Breakfast, you will leave Chiayi and will be on the road to your first stop, the Southern Branch of National Palace Museum. Located in Taibao City, this museum has a permanent collection of nearly 700,000 pieces of ancient Chinese imperial artifacts and artworks, making it one of the largest of its type in the world. There, you will witness 5000 years of Chinese cultural high quality pieces collected by China's emperors. Finally, you will move towards Northern Taiwan to reach Taipei City by bus.
