Taipei - Nantou
You will be picked up from the hotel and transferred by bus to your first destination, Nantou. When you reach Nantou, you will head towards Puli, a cultural artistic heaven located at the geographic heart of Taiwan which is known for its “four Ws”: weather, water, women, and wine. Afterwards, you will visit the most famous lake attraction in Taiwan, the Sun Moon Lake. There, you will enjoy the relaxing scenery of the lofty mountains of Central Taiwan. Then, you will pass by Wen Wu Temple, Ita Thao Village, where you will find stores, restaurants, and hotels in the village, Ci'en Pagoda, a famous tower in Sun Moon Lake. Surrounding the tower are beautiful plants and trees and there are stone tables and chairs for visitors to take a rest. Finally, you will visit the serene and charming Xuanzang Temple.
Overnight in Nantou
Nantou - Kaohsiung
In the morning, you will be picked up from the hotel and head towards Changhua County where you will visit the Lukang, a historical and cultural town located about 180 kilometers south of Taipei. There you will witness the captivating arts and handicrafts, particularly wooden and bamboo items. Then you will continue your way to Kaohsiung.
Overnight in Kaohsiung
First, you will visit Eluanbi Park to witness its beautiful landscape with mountains in the north and south with coral tablelands. Located within the park is Eluanbi Lighthouse which is one of the most recognized attractions with its splendid panorama that will leave you mesmerized. Then you will move to Maobitou where exists a number of fascinating scenic recreational areas that feature interesting rocky formations, rugged terrain and the beautiful skirt-like coral reef terraces that are stunning to look at. Afterwards, you will visit Kenting Park, Taiwan’s first national park. The park faces the Pacific Ocean to the east, the Bashi Channel to the south, and the Taiwan Straits to the west. Some of Taiwan’s largest coral reefs that lie off the coast and the forests along the park’s western edge are the last of Taiwan’s coastal tropical forests. The fantastic climate, lush forests, beaches, and reef environments make Kenting a rival to internationally famous tropical resorts like Bali and Phuket. Finally, you will head back to Kaohsiung.

Kaohsiung - Taipei
Your day will include a Kaohsiung City tour in which you will come to see the largest lake in Kaohsiung County, the Chengcing Lake. A major attraction at the lake is the restored Jhongsing Pagoda. The lake also has islands and bridges, towers and pavilions, boating and aquariums, tree-lined paths, a nine-corner bridge. Later on, you will pay a visit to Spring & Autumn Pagodas where you can observe the seven-tiered Dragon and Tiger pagodas that stand in the water of Lotus Lake at Tzuoying near the graceful Spring and Autumn Pavilion. Next, you will stop at the Former British Consulate which is considered the most antique western building preserved in Taiwan and the most meaningful ancient building of Chinese modern history with graceful and elegant proportion. Finally, you will depart back to Taipei.
