From Prague to Venice, enjoy this 18-day odyssey across Europe. On this journey you will be able to see such historical and cultural monuments as St. Peter’s Basilica, the Eiffel Tower and the Palais des Nations- the headquarters for the United Nations!

Day 1

Welcome to Prague! At your airport of arrival, transportation will be waiting to take you to your hotel. Your guide will greet you at the hotel and provide you with all the necessary information. In the evening, we provide a transfer to the Old Town Square. This central location is full of energy and tourist activities. It’s a marvelous place to acquaint yourselves with Prague.

Day 2

You will be exploring this capital city, which is known as the Baroque jewel of Europe. Your local expert will provide a guided city tour, which will include the most outstanding monuments. During the visit, you will walk through Prague Castle (admission included). Subsequently, you will take a magnificent boat tour along Moldova River. Free time in the afternoon to explore Prague. In the evening, you will enjoy some time off in the historical city center and there will be an opportunity for you to enjoy cuisines from around the world, including Czech, Chinese, Indian, and Italian.

Day 3

Prague - Frankfurt
You will leave for Germany. In the region of Bavaria, you will see Lauf an der Pegnitz, a picturesque little village which stands out for its busy Market Square and Castle. Afterwards, you will carry on to Wurzburg, with time to see this Bavarian city on the banks of the Maine, a former bishopric center which has become a very busy university city. Your journey continues towards Frankfurt. Explore the historic center and dine at a restaurant of your choosing.

Day 4

Frankfurt - Amsterdam
Today we include a small cruise on the River Rhine, between the villages of Rudesheim and Sankt Goar, undoubtedly the river’s most picturesque sector. Afterwards you will travel to Cologne, a city which stands out for its immense Gothic cathedral. Then on to Holland, where you will arrive at Amsterdam by the end of the day

Day 5

Today will be filled with excitement and beauty. You will first go to Zaanse Schans to see its mills, its canals and its traditional houses. Then, you will visit Volendam, a very picturesque fishing village. From there, you will get on a short boat trip and sail to Marken, an island that was united to the mainland by a fixed dike with houses built on stilts. In the afternoon we include a panoramic tour of Amsterdam to see its narrow canals, the Dam Platz, its official buildings and parks. You will also get to see the local technique of diamond cutting. Transfer to the red light district, with its liberal values and its many restaurants from all corners of the world.

Day 6

Amsterdam - Paris
You will leave for Brussels and will have time in the Grand Place. You will also be able to photograph the Atomium. Later in Bruges, the marvelous Flemish city known as the “northern little Venice”. Time for lunch before continuing to France, where you will end your day in Paris.

Day 7

A scenic guided tour to discover the history, main boulevards and breathtaking monuments of Paris. You will end the visit at the Eiffel Tower area. You will have the opportunity to climb up to the second floor of this remarkable metal monument (ticket admission included). End your visit with a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides the north of Paris from the south. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore as you choose. At sunset, transfer to the “Quartier Latin”, a very picturesque area of the historic center were you can enjoy dinner with a wide variety of international cuisines. Return to hotel.
Note: Sometimes queues to climb the Eiffel Tower are long. For organizational reasons, if deemed appropriate, the climb can be made at a different moment of the day or on Monday

Day 8

You will go to the center of Paris to the area of the Louvre Museum. You will spend your day there at leisure. If you wish, we can accompany you to Benlux, one of the most complete and best-known perfumeries in Paris. An optional excursion to Disneyland Paris will also be offered.

Day 9

Paris - Lyon
You will travel to the center of France where you will find the Burgundy, famous for its wines. You will stop in Noyers, a small medieval town known to be one of the prettiest places in France.  Afterwards you will visit Beaune in the center of Burgundy where its streets are full of flowers; its hospice and its wine museum will create many memories. You will then arrive in the afternoon at Lyon, the capital of Galllia - a former province of the Roman Empire - on the banks of the river Rhine; its historic center has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The rest of the day will be spent at leisure.

Day 10

Lyon - Zurich
You will travel to Switzerland, where you will arrive at Geneva. With your guide, you will go to the Palais des Nations, the United Nations headquarters in Europe. You will then go to the beautiful “Jardin Anglais” with its flower clock, and admire the “Jet d’Eau”, the tallest fountain in Europe. After lunch, you will continue through Switzerland passing the beautiful Lake Leman and Lake Neuchatel.
Note: Depending on the number of travelers from Geneva to Zürich, this trip might be done by train

Day 11

With your guide, you will stroll through the most populated city of Switzerland, the financial and cultural capital of the country. The city of banks has twice been declared the city with the best quality of life in the world. Afterwards, you will board a boat for a trip lasting almost two hours on Zurich Lake. The boat will make brief stops, allowing you to admire the villages along the way. You will be dropped off in Rapperswil, a small and highly picturesque village overlooked by its medieval castle. You will return to Zurich by train, and will see the efficiency and punctuality of the Swiss Railways. Enjoy an evening in the historic center, next to the lake, where you can dine at a restaurant of your choice.

Day 12

Today’s stage has beautiful landscapes with high mountains and lakes. Breathtaking scenery in the region of Interlaken. Grindelwald where you will have time for a coffee before taking the cable car (ticket included) up to Grindelwald. You will walk along the path (30 minutes) in which you shall be able to take the “footbridge over the empty” among the fantastic scenery of glaciers around us. Lunch included (vegetarian option available). Afterwards, you will continue to Lucerne, one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. Time at the end of the day to explore the city and dine before returning to the hotel in Zurich.

Day 13

Zurich - Milán
You will travel to Burglen, the tiny village where William Tell was born. Here, you will see the chapel of the 16thC with paintings illustrating William Tell's life. You will continue to Lugano, the cosmopolitan capital of the Italian Switzerland with its beautiful lake. Afterwards, following the shores of the lake, you will reach the enchanting little town of Morcote, with its houses made of stone and covered with flowers. You will then arrive in Milan where your guide will take you to the impressive Duomo Square. There will be time to dine at the Porta Venecia (Port of Venice) where an outstanding variety of restaurants can be found to delight your palate.

Day 14

Milan - Rome
Spend some time in Milan, where you can see its great cathedral and the galleries in the center. Then, you will continue towards Pisa. On a little tourist train you will travel to the Piazza Dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles), where there will be time to admire one of the most alluring and beautiful art complexes in Italy, including the well-known Leaning Tower of Pisa. Then, you will continue to Rome, arriving at the end of the afternoon.

Day 15

In the morning, you will have a scenic tour of the capital, which will be a great introduction to “The Eternal City”. You will visit the tiny state of the Vatican. Vatican City is the principle center of Catholicsm in the world. You will be able to visit St. Peter’s Basilica. Also included in the tour is an admission to the Roman Coliseum, the landmark of Rome. This impressive construction dates back 2,000 years and will transport you back in time so that you can learn about ancient society in the Roman Empire. In the evening you will be transported to the Via Cavour area, where you will find restaurants serving Italian, Indian, Chinese, and international food.

Day 16

Rome - Florence
You will leave Rome and head north. This route is graced with beautiful landscapes. Upon arrival in Florence, you will head straight to Piazzale Michelangelo, an impressive site in the city. In the evening you will go on a tour with a local expert and walk through the historic center, taking in places such as the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo and the Piazza della Signoria. This city is truly an outdoor museum. Free time to explore. In the evening, you can dine at your favorite restaurant. In this district you can find restaurants serving Italian, Indian, Chinese, and international food.

Day 17

Florence - Venice
Today you will enjoy stunning mountain landscapes while crossing the Apennine Mountains. Arriving in Venice, you will board a vaporetto to travel around on the canals in the historic center. With a local guide, you will visit the marvellous Plaza de San Marcos and enter the marvellous basilica (entry cost included). Afterwards, you will be able to visit the Murano glass factory city. It is marvellous to see the technique of crystal blowing. Free time.
At the end of the afternoon, you will have the chance to dine at your restaurant of choice in the Mestre area.
